Insomnia can bite me. It's been almost a solid week of this with tonight being the worst. I'd like to think I could sleep in tomorrow (if I ever actually get to sleep) but I know the kids will start waking up at 6 because that's just what they do. So every minute ticks closer to that and ratchets up my stress. Ugh.

Poor neglected journal. Boy do I not post much here at all anymore. But I do actually read my friend's page almost every day! So there's that. Not that I comment much, because I suck. Also, mostly because no wireless at home and just about everything blocked at work means I can only check it on my phone. And typing things on my phone, while easier than it used to be (LOVE SWYPE) still sucks when compared to touch typing. Bah!
Today is my off day though so I'm camped at the local coffee shop and enjoying down time. One full day of doing nothing. No work, kids have school, no husband. Happy Me! :)
This is probably not going to be a fascinating post either. My brain is in a forced holding pattern. Whenever some productive thought tries to surface I smash it with a hammer. I refuse to think today! :)

I'm a huge supporter of breastfeeding, but the point where you are seriously considering not taking antibiotics to combat MRSA is the point you've crossed over into crazy town. Are some of those antibiotics contraindicated for breastfeeding? Yes. But look at the quite possible alternative!
You could die. You won't be breastfeeding then, will you?

Sitting in the Anchorage airport, waiting for my flight to Kenai, freezing. I accidentally left my coat in Arizona with my folks and just have my light weight t-shirt. So very cold. Will never do that again. The worst part is my flight is with Era which means I have to walk outside to the airplane instead of a warm jetway. Ugh
Oh well. Just five more hours and I will be there and can wrap up in all the blankets I want.

The very hungry caterpillar decides to take a nap on rather than eat the Corbin. Good choice.

It's been awhile. I keep meaning to write up an entry about Corbin's birth but I never seem to get around to it. So here is a small announcement and I'll get around to the birth story later. Corbin Boomer was born on January 25th and was a full pound heavier and inch longer than either his brother or sister. So I guess he's well named. Maternity leave has been fabulous so far and I'm currently visiting my parents in Arizona for the week so my father could meet the newest addition.

"Have you been feeling all of your contractions?"
Well, if I didn't feel one, how would I know that I missed it? Yes, you have that printout showing them over there but it's not like I can see it.
So the induction has begun. Fun times!

Sadly still waiting. Enforced bedrest is getting tedious and the more time that passes, the less opposed to being induced I become. :)

Third time through and still those Braxton Hicks can fool you. "Whoa...is this going somewhere? Is this it...?" Nope. "Sigh."
Of course, I desperately don't want to work another twelve hour shift so I keep hoping against hope that this kid will come early.
